AGARICUS POP!

When a band walks out on their show, an eager mushroom is finally given the chance to perform but hesitates at the thought of risking it all.

Working on Agaricus Pop! has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Being apart of such an amazing crew of talented people getting to work on the amazing film has been a monumental step in my animation career. I was able to bring such vibrant and dynamic characters to life, and I loved working on this film not just for the deep characters and unique story but for the unseen character that is the music. It played such a powerful role in this film and using it to work in tandem with the character has been an absolute blast! This film also allowed me to step out of my comfort zone in the animation pipeline. Including prop and character modeling, rigging, and lighting and rendering in Houdini. Houdini in of itself was a learning curve but I got to add a great deal into my animation toolbelt.

Being apart of Agaricus Pop! will always hold a special place in my heart. I've always loved stories where music is a character in of itself and this film truly bridges the character and the music beautifully.
